Clients are responsible for selecting a tour suitable for their athletic ability, informing us of any medical or dietary restrictions, signing our release form prior to the start of their tour, and obeying all cycling rules and road laws. Tuscany on the road reserves the right to decline or withhold service to any person who, for physical or other reasons, is deemed unfit for the trip. Tuscany on the road is not responsible for cancellations or amendments due to acts of nature, civil unrest or inclement weather. Every care will be taken to respect your belongings at all times. However, Tuscany on the road is not responsible for damage, loss or theft of your personal belongings.

Your Responsibilities
Tuscany on the road would like you to return home after experiencing a rewarding and cultural tour. However we rely on you to provide us with necessary important personal information (flight details, allergies etc., for hotel or for transfers as necessary etc.)

Travel Documents and Passports
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a valid passport and meet all necessary entry requirements of the country you will be visiting. Tuscany on the road is not responsible for delays, changes or costs of any kind due to incomplete, expired or inaccurate Traveller documentation.

Reservations, deposit and final payment
A deposit of 30% of the total price payable is required at the time of booking. If the balance is not received by the due date specified in the Tuscany on the road confirmation email, Tuscany on the road will consider the reservation cancelled and our cancellation policy, as outlined below, will apply. The tour price is per person based on two people sharing and includes those items mentioned in the itinerary, plus any prepaid optional items. Single room requests are subject to supplemental charges, and must be requested at time of booking.

Final balance is by payment into Tuscany on the road account 30 days before the trip. We will remind you of your final payment date in advance.

Travel Insurance
Tuscany on the road strongly recommends cancellation and accident insurance to prevent any losses in case of illness, accident or otherwise. It is your responsibility as the client to apply directly to the insurance company in own country and to make sure you have the correct and adequate cover. Our cancellation fees are not negotiable.

In the event that you cancel your participation on the trip, Tuscany on the road has the right to impose the following:
Cancellations made before 60 days prior to departure: €150 p/person administration fee;
Cancellation fee for cancellations made 60 days or less prior to departure:
31-60 days = 50% of trip price 0-30 days =100% of trip price;
Cancellations must be submitted to Tuscany on the road in writing only.
No refunds are made for unused portions of the tour once it has begun.

Cancellations by Tuscany on the road
In very rare cases it may be necessary for Tuscany on the road to cancel a tour. In the event of cancellation, a full refund will be sent to the client and this constitutes full settlement. Tuscany on the road is not responsible for other expenses incurred such as pre-paid hotel reservations or non-refundable airline tickets.
Registrants will receive a sixty day notice and full refund or option to move to another scheduled week.

Changes to Your Trip
Clients are allowed to make minor changes to the itinerary once the trip is confirmed, within reason as determined by Tuscany on the road and with sufficient advance notice. We will try our best to accommodate your requests. However, major changes will incur additional planning fees and/or nonrefundable deposit payments in addition to the amount initially quoted. See the “Cancellation” section above for our fees should you need to cancel your trip entirely.

Tuscany on the road proposes most types of accommodation: very nice, friendly, family-run  accommodations situated in the heart of Chianciano Terme.  It is with easy walking distance to all facilities and good restaurants; hotel 4 stars, rooms or apartments in agriturismo, residences, villas.

Rental Bicycles
We will ask for your measurements to insure that you get the most suitable bike possible, but we strongly recommend you confirm your requirement at the time of booking the tour.
You will be responsible for the bicycle once you take possession of it. Your responsibilities include any costs for damage or theft up to the full value of the bicycle.
Any clients who decide to bring their own bicycles are responsible for all mechanical issues, including train transportation issues etc.

Your privacy is important to us. Tuscany on the road is required to collect some personal information in order to plan your trip.
We appreciate the sensitive nature of this information and will not share it with third parties (other than for certain reservations as a part of your trip) without your express written permission.
By sending us your initial deposit, you are consenting to Tuscany on the road collecting and using your personal information as required to plan your trip and provide you with proper services.

Limitation of Liability, Release and Indemnity
To be eligible to take a Tuscany on the road tour, Travellers must accept the risks of travel, set out in these Terms & Conditions, and assume full responsibility for any loss, injury, death or damage to them, their family or their dependants or property arising in connection with their participation, or the participation of their family, on the tour. Travellers must have their own insurance appropriate to their needs and the needs of their family or dependants in respect of such loss, injury, death or damage.
The cost of all Tuscany on the road tours is based on Travellers agreeing to these Terms & Conditions and in particular this Limitation of Liability, Release and Indemnity. Tuscany on the road is acting solely as an agent for you with respect to all transportation, accommodation, meals and other arrangements, in consideration for participating on the tours, Travellers agree not to sue Tuscany on the road its employees, directors, successors, agents and assigns in respect of, and forever release them from, all liability for economic loss and physical or mental injury, direct or indirect, arising in connection with the tour and the actions of any third party service providers—including, without limitation, permanent disability and death; any emotional distress; any loss of services, financial support, aid, consortium or companionship; and any damage to or loss of property—in each case even if caused in whole or in part by the conduct, including the negligence, of Tuscany on the road, except where such loss, injury or damage is caused by reckless or fraudulent conduct on the part of Tuscany on the road or their employees, guides, officers or directors, in which case the Traveller retains the right to sue only Tuscany on the road in respect of that conduct. Travellers further agree that they will indemnify and hold Tuscany on the road harmless in respect of any claims arising in connection with the tours or escursions made by:
i) third parties, which arise from the misconduct of the Travellers;
ii) the Traveller’s family members, dependants or heirs;
iii) third parties, which the Traveller, their estate, their family members, dependants or heirs have sued, if damages are recovered from such third parties, to the extent the third party obtains any indemnification from Tuscany on the road; except where the loss, injury, death or damage is caused by the reckless or fraudulent conduct on the part of Tuscany on the road, or their employees, guides, officers or directors. Tuscany on the road reserves the right to decline accepting any Traveller whose health or actions in Tuscany on the road‘s sole judgment impede the operation of a tour or the welfare or enjoyment of fellow Travellers.
In addition and without limitation, Tuscany on the road is not responsible for any injury, loss, or death, or damage to property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from, without limitation, to acts of God or force majeure, weather, quarantines, illness, disease, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection/revolt, animals, labour unrest including strikes, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of services, food poisoning, mechanical or other failure of means of transportation or travel delays, travel advisories or warnings.
In further consideration for participating on the tour, Travellers agree that Tuscany on the road, or their designate, may use any photographic or film records of the tours for promotional and/or commercial purposes, without any remuneration to the Traveller.
The Traveller agrees to assign all right, title and interest they may have in or to any media in which their name or likeness might be used by Tuscany on the road.

Travellers agree that Tuscany on the road is the trustee of the respective rights of Tuscany on the road under this Limitation of Liability, Release and Indemnity, which will apply to a Traveller’s tours with Tuscany on the road, and any transfer of a reservation to another tour.
These Terms & Conditions and this Limitation of Liability, Release and Indemnity are binding upon all members of the Traveller’s family, dependants, estate, heirs, successors and legal personal representatives.
